A
typical Sabbath morning at Brandon
Seventh-Day Adventist church begins with our Sabbath
School at 9:30am.
At 10:45am Our Worship Service begins -
You
will receive a warm welcome when you come to visit.
We promise to greet you warmly. We will give you a worship
service bulletin that describes the order of our service
and any important announcements.
Praise and Worship - We sing several
songs during our worship to God. This is an activity
that helps to bond together as a congregation and show
our love for God.
Our Welcome and Children’s Service
- At Brandon church it is our custom to welcome each
other and show our love. We take a moment out to do
so at the beginning of our worship service. The Children's
Story is when the children go up front while a member
of our church tells the story. Most Sabbaths the children
leave after the Children's Story and go to Children’s
Church classes during the rest of the worship service
time.
Memory Nugget
- It is also our custom to commit to memory a Bible
verse each week. This is a time in the Worship Service
when we discover each week's memory nugget.
Prayers and Special Music - We celebrate
all of the blessings from God. We ask God for guidance
and care. We pray that God will comfort the sick and
afflicted, be with those who are traveling, and give
guidance to our Pastor and church members along with
those who are visiting and in need. We also take up
a weekly collection for the work of the church here,
but we do not expect our visitors to contribute, you
are visiting after all.
Sermon - We hear a sermon
from our Pastor and gain insight into the Bible readings
and learn how to apply them in our day and time. We
promise you will learn a lot and that the Lord will
bless you by the message preached. You will find that
our sermons are Biblically based. We believe that Scripture
is our primary guide for faith and practice, and should
be the focus of spiritual instruction. Scripture readings
during services are almost always taken from the King
James Version (KJV) of the Bible.
You are always welcome at Brandon Seventh-day Adventist
Church and if you are looking for a church home we welcome
you to make Brandon church your regular place of fellowship
and worship. |
